I just read my parents' first blog entries! I'm so excited for them as they prepare to go on a mission to Ecuador. Tomorrow they will be set apart. I wish we could be there.
I guess I'd better write a bit about my family, too--or maybe just me. Early this morning all of the YW leaders in our new ward met for 3 hours to determine our goals, make plans for activities, personal progress, birthdays, advancements, and so on, bond & visit. It was great--we accomplished so much.
While I was at the meeting, Chloe & Olivia went with the Pifers and other friends to a Santa Train experience in Boulder City. They had a wonderful time & came back ready to rest a bit. Brett & Cameron were at a Scout campout (our new ward's first one, and Cam's first time going with the Scouts, since he turns 12 in 4 days). Their coats smell very strongly of campfire. Hanna was at a sleepover/surprise party thrown by her school friends for her 14th birthday. She came home later with a pretty blanket with wolves as the main picture--her favorite animal.
Tonight is a big occasion, too. Brett is DJ-ing the regional dance, and Hanna is attending it as her first dance. Brett lost many nights of sleep stressed about it--being the DJ, not Hanna's going. ;)
Hanna got her interview with the Bishop after Mutual on Tuesday, all on her own. I guess she's serious about this. My Baby!!!!!
